What's up y'all, yeah so it was a fairly uneventful weekend, you know just had the beautiful and delightful Dayna Delux fly out from LA to do a photo shoot at the Chop Shop. The shoot is for a joint project between Jake's Chop Shop and Dayna Delux. This is going to be a very special, very unique venture. Here in this photo Dayna poses with the fabulous Pink 1960 Impala Bed.
Dayna was an absolute trooper, it was a typically hot summer day in Arizona. The photo shoot was done at the Shop and lasted a few hours. But, this is going to be a great project and something that all of our my space friends can add to there collection, but obviously there will be more details to come. We kept this shoot under wraps as much as possible, but as you can imagine some of our friends just happened to be in the neighborhood...ha, ha...Here is a photo of our friends Dave and Luther with Jake, carefully critiquing the work of the absolute pro that is Dayna Delux...
Also putting himself in harms way is photographer extraordinare Andy Hartmark pictured here on a ladder, in the rafters, in the swealtering heat trying to get that perfect shot.
So, to close out the weekend, last Sunday night, on the local Channel 10, Fox 9pm News, Jake's Chop Shop was featured in a story put together by reporter Ramin Khalili. The report was recorded last Tuesday and Ramin did a fantastic job. Hopefully, this will pop up on the Web soon and we can link it to the site for those of you who may have missed on the first go around.
So, as you can all see just another weekend at the Shop, ho hum...ha, ha, obviously that is a little tongue and cheek, it really is an exciting time for Jake's Chop Shop, and we look forward to sharing more with you soon...til next time stay cool friends.

Jake's Chop Shop trip to the west coast...
In a word....wow! What a great time we had in California, thanks to all of those who made this trip special, Dayna Delux, Johnny Coffin, Tony Slash and Mr. Pink from the Rocketz (sorry Pinky you'll always be a Rocket to me), April Atomic, Deadbolt, the Head Cat, Big Vinny, Grandma and Luis, the Doll Hut, the beach, the Juke Joint, the locksmith lady, and of course who can forget the old bat who ran us out of her clothing boutique in Laguna Beach. "We don't like sand..."
That said the plate is full at the Shop. Time to go to work and get some of the cool things we have in the works ready for all of our friends...Stay Tuned!
The Underworld is rising up!!! Grrr!
